Spring flowers are by far my favorite...can't wait for the tulips to make an appearance as well!

Crate & Barrel

Anyone else get the spring email from Crate & Barrel with all the spring greens & blues? I mean seriously...doesn't just the email make you want to smile?! Okay, so I'm a sucker for spring greens & blues, alright fine, most greens & blues, but really, can you blame me? They are gorgeous! This espresso machine is B-E-A-UTIFUL! Seriously, I can't think of much I'd rather look at every morning...and the fact that it brews up some killer caffeine, well even better!
Function blends with fashion perfectly in this newest product from Crate & Barrel!

Of course,

Probably the thing my mom and even more so my grandma, would be most proud of is that I've made my bed every morning since I got my new duvet :)

(Trust me, this is unusual! :))

Before

Here's what my room looked like last week...I really love that blanket at the end of my bed, but didn't necessarily want to have to keep it there all the time because I NEEDED some color on my bed! I've never owned a duvet cover for my down comforter, other than the white one my mom bought for me with the down. Its been probably 6 years since I received it as a gift and decided it was time to find something with some color!

CB2 Lamp

This was my first purchase...I've been wanting an arc lamp for over my chaise for a LONG time, and finally found one I liked at a 'decent' price. Don't think they come in what I would call an affordable price...can't believe how much lamps are!

Then I ordered a duvet cover (or actually 2) from Target...When I ordered them I thought this one was much more green than yellow. So at first glance I didn't think this was going to work with my room (the green I already have is a deep sage and I have NO yellow).

The glue...

And here comes in the pillow I blogged about earlier...While I was at Target to return both duvets I decided to look around and found this pillow (on sale!) with yellow, the exact sage of my sheets & pillows and a blue very similar (and complimentary) to my walls! It is also edged in the same color as the piping on the duvet! SCORE!

After

Here it is all together...it gives my room so much warmth!

Bookshelf

I also found a few other things at Target (surprise!) including this black bookshelf for $19! I have so many books and albums that I can use any bookshelf available to me...so while it isn't near full at this moment, it will be soon, I have no doubt!

:)

Well I bought the bookshelf to place it next to my bed as a shelf/night stand. However, when I actually put it together and placed it there it was much too high as well as deep to last there long. I have this ladder bookshelf that was previously by my door that I moved here for now. At least it tapers at the top so it doesn't stick out much farther from the wall than the bed!

For now it is next to the door to my room...holding (some of) my ever growing, expanding and getting much closer to ridiculous number of photo albums :)
